George Griffin

George Griffin was a White County Deputy Sheriff and the Constable of Coldwell Township.
On Friday, June 17, 2005 Deputy George Griffin was responded to a call for assistance
from another officer, when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident.
Deputy Griffin died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, as result of injuries recieved in the accident.

Deputy Griffin had served with the White County Sheriff's Department for 2 years,
and had previously served with the Kensett Police Department and Judsonia Police Department.
George will be missed by his many co-workers and friends.


John Ziegler


John Ziegler was Constable of Bald Knob Township, AR.
On 3/19/98, while responding to a call of a child in respiratory destress,
Constable Zigler was involved in a traffic accident with another reponding unit.
Constable Zigler died later that night at White County Hospital.
John will be missed by many friends and co-workers.


Daniel Phillip Longstreet

On the morning of March 14th 1997 Officer Danny Longstreet,
Higginson Police Department, was ambushed and shot to death
while sitting in his patrol car.
Timothy Lee Askins, the person who shot Officer Longstreet,
was charged and convicted of Capital Murder.
He was sentenced to life without parole.
Jess Allan Fulgham, who transported Askins to the scene,
was charged and convicted with Murder in the first degree.
He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Danny will be missed by many friends and co-workers.

Abe Isacc Pipkin

On April 5th, 1977 Beebe officer Abe Isacc Pipkin, age 72,
was on duty, doing night checks on businesses.
He was found at a drug store, which had been burglarized,
Officer Pipken had been beaten to death.
No arrest(s) have been made in the incident.
